A new start

At LYDIA Connect we believe that organisations should always lead from their vision. Therefore, the first step in the plan is to ensure that there is a strong and clear vision! Then we can build on it.

 

The goal is that all actions taken in your organisation are aligned with the vision. Which also means that all actions that are not aligned with the vision must be eliminated! The tool used here is called VPMOSA.

  1. Vision – What will your organisation accomplish?
  2. Purpose – Why does your organisation exist?
  3. Mission – What sets your organisation apart? What are you willing to do that no one else will do to fulfill your vision?
  4. Objectives – Set 3-6 objectives that you want to achieve in the next 12-18 months to move you closer to your VPM (vision, purpose, and mission).
  5. Strategies – For each objective, determine 2-3 strategies to achieve it.
  6. Actions – Determine specific actions necessary to fulfil each strategy within the next 12-18 months.

You will find that when you create a VPMOSA, it becomes very clear in your organisation what is and is not appropriate, what should and should not be done, even who should be here and who should not!
